According to the Clarion Ledger's records, eight people died from murder in the month of November with most victims dying in the south portions of Jackson.

Clarion Ledger’s data shows wards 5, 6, and 7 had the most homicides in November with two each — making up 75% of murders. Wards 1 and 3 had one homicide each, while wards 2 and 4 had no reported homicides.
