Democrats face a cultural disconnect with many U.S. voters thatâs making it hard for them to get their policy proposals across, according to Sen. Mark Warner (D-Va.).
âI think, frankly, the Democratic brand stinks. I think there are a whole lot of Americans that they donât listen to your idea if your brand is so off,â he said Tuesday at the annual Wall Street Journal CEO Council Summit in Washington.
Warnerâs comments came as Democrats continue to ponder the losses in the Nov. 5 elections that will give Republicans control of the White House, the Senate and the House of Representatives for the first time since 2019.
