Early last Friday, Oklahoma City experienced its 74th homicide of the year.
According to the Oklahoma City Police Department, officers responded to a report of a disturbance at 3821 Hiddleston Cir., which quickly escalated into a fatal shooting.
The fatal incident, logged under Incident #24-0087398, occurred at approximately 2:04 a.m. Upon arrival at the scene near SE 44th St. and Sunnylane Rd., the police discovered that Timothy Emmanuel Brown, a 24-year-old Black male, had been shot following a confrontation outside of the residence.
Despite being rushed to a local hospital, Brown succumbed to his injuries, as reported by the Oklahoma City Police Department.
The Oklahoma City Police Department has reported an arrest in connection with the shooting.
Ladarius James Crutchfield, another young Black male aged 21, has been taken into custody.
