JERUSALEM â Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was one of the first world leaders to congratulate former President Donald Trump on his stunning political comeback victory on Wednesday.
Netanyahu, who is leading a seven-front existential war against Iranâs regime and its proxies, wrote on X, "Dear Donald and Melania Trump, Congratulations on historyâs greatest comeback! Your historic return to the White House offers a new beginning for America and a powerful recommitment to the great alliance between Israel and America. This is a huge victory! In true friendship, yours, Benjamin and Sara Netanyahu."
Fox News projected Trump as the winner of the presidential election in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
