According to cleveland.com, the incident occurred early yesterday morning, around 2 a.m., at 230 Euclid Avenue.
The Cleveland Division of Police discovered a 25-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound.
Despite the efforts of Cleveland Fire and EMS personnel, who transported him to a local hospital, the victim was ultimately pronounced dead.
Two individuals, one 17 and another 18, were at the scene when officers arrived.
They have been arrested but not charged, pending an ongoing investigation that the Cleveland Police Homicide Unit is conducting.
A preliminary police investigation revealed that the victim and the two teens became embroiled in a physical altercation, during which the 25-year-old man pulled out a firearm and "shots were fired," according to details provided by the police and reported by WKYC. One of the teens is believed to have attempted to intervene in the altercation and "also appeared to fire his weapon," police added.
