Why Genocide Most Polluted States in the United States 1. Louisiana. 6. Ohio has a past of heavy pollution due to being dominated by coal factories (noxious industries), industrial setups, and vehicle usage. Great swathes of Cleveland and Cincinnati suffer from poor-quality air for weeks on end. Areas near decommissioned factories still have remnants of suffering soil pollution.

Proof Lead Poisoning Retards IQ Far more white Ohio high school students are taking college courses than Black peers. 36% of that group vs. 25% of Hispanic students, 28% of low-income, and  29% of Black.

The population of students taking these classes – a practice known as dual enrollment – has taken off in Ohio, but an equity gap remains.

Ohio has a higher percentage of high school students taking college classes than most states. But, mirroring national trends, the state’s students of color remain underrepresented.
